Why is this cuvée exceptional?
During the harvest of this parcel on September 19, 2022, the pickers were instructed to pick only the grapes they wanted to eat. The 2022 vintage surprises by its quality: low yields, grapes with a great aromatic potential and a high ageing potential. The vinification is quite classic with a long pressing of 14 hours which allows a slower extraction. 788kg of grapes were pressed. The wine then reveals all its depth and relief. Two months after the harvest, Jean, the winemaker, tells us that the wine is fermenting slowly but surely. The wine has a wide range of aromas which will become more precise throughout the fermentation.
